Jacquelyn RedmondJacquelyn L. Redmond is the Principal and founding attorney at J. Redmond Law, PC. Jacquelyn concentrates her practice in the areas of real estate law, wills, trusts, and estate law, and family law. Jacquelyn truly enjoys advocating for and protecting individuals and families as they navigate life’s changes. She represents buyers, sellers, and lenders in real estate transactions including purchases, sales, and refinances. She enjoys walking clients through the process and helping to make it as smooth and stress free as possible for them.

Jacquelyn represents individuals and families in preparing their estate planning documents to protect their family and assets. She provides personalized estate plans to meet each individual client’s needs and wishes. Jacquelyn also advocates for clients in a wide variety of family law matters, including representing husbands and wives throughout the divorce process as well as modifications in child support and visitation rights. Jacquelyn also helps individuals and families create wills and trusts to protect their assets and family. She enjoys her focus areas of law because they allow her to get to know her clients and help them achieve their goals and protect their family in a number of different ways. She understands the emotional aspect involved in many of the family law and will, trust, and estate issues and enjoys listening and connecting with her clients in order to better understand them and their goals.

Jacquelyn is very involved in public interest work. Presently she is a liaison for the Boston Bar Association’s Delivery of Legal Services Section and the New Lawyer’s Section, facilitating communication regarding ways to give back to the community and helping those in need obtain legal services. She is also an active volunteer with Volunteer Lawyer’s Project and Women’s Bar Association, volunteering her time to represent clients in need. She is also very involved with Big Sister Association of Greater Boston as both a big sister and a member of the Young Professional Board.

Previously, Jacquelyn was awarded the Public Interest Certificate from Florida State College of Law. She interned with Florida State University School of Law’s Public Interest Law Center where she was managing dependency cases and conducting the trials involved, as well as working on special education, social security disability, foster care, and health care access cases. She also worked on a special project lobbying for a bill that would provide juveniles the possibility of parole. In addition Jacquelyn worked with the Department of Children and Families, appearing frequently in Leon County Juvenile Court as a Certified Legal Intern conducting hearings, motions, and trials.

Jacquelyn graduated cum laude from Florida State University School of Law. She earned her B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Emory University. She is an active member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the Boston Bar Association (BBA), and the Women’s Bar Association. Jacquelyn is admitted to practice in both the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Florida.
