Jacquelyn is very passionate about fighting human trafficking, especially in our Greater Boston community. It is shocking that there are hundreds of cases of children being sexually exploited and trafficked in our neighborhoods and city. Jacquelyn is involved with My Life My Choice, an amazing local non profit that works to save, protect, educate and prevent the sexual exploitation of children in our neighborhoods of Greater Boston and around the county and world.
A Path Appears is a three part television program airing on PBS January 26, February 2nd and February 9th. You can watch it on line anytime at https://www.pbs.org/independentlens/path-appears/. It features My Life My Choice and Blake Lively @blakelively who visits MLMC in Boston.
Tonight’s last episode explores the violence that exists and solutions we can implement to fight it. In the United States, domestic violence claims more than three lives a day on average; one in every four women will experience it during their lifetime. Domestic violence creates a climate of distress and terror, impedes the upbringing of children, and yet is still a taboo that is not adequately addressed.
