Jacquelyn would like to thank Barbara and Peter Stone for inviting her to their event to help introduce friends and community members to Joe Avellone. They invited us to their beautiful home to hear why Joe Avellone is running for and is a good candidate for Governor. Like Peter Stone, Joe Avellone is a physician who trained at Brigham and Women’s Hospital here in Boston. Joe Avellone is now the Corporate Senior Vice President of Parexel International, a global drug development company with 14,000 employees in Massachusetts and 51 foreign countries. Joe Avellone is running for Governor of Massachusetts in next year’s election.
I was struck by Joe Avellone’s concrete goals, and plans to accomplish strict and measurable improvement in specific areas such as employment and education. In addition, I think he has a unique advantage in understanding and being able to work on finding a solution to the health care issues we are facing. He has experience as a physician and also on the business side of medicine, making him uniquely equipped to handle discussions with the various parties involved to negotiate the best solution.
